Ingredients
-
1 can Chickpea, cooked
-
1 piece Broccoli, fresh
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
40 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
30 g Cheese, edamame
-
1 teaspoon Spices, garlic powder
-
pieces Salt, table
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
Steps
-
Wash the broccoli head and cut the florets from the stem, then roughly chop them. Drain the chickpeas from the can and rinse them under running water.
-
Bring water to a boil in a pot and cook the broccoli and chickpeas for 2 minutes. Drain well.
-
Transfer half of the cooked broccoli and chickpeas to a bowl. Mash the ingredients with a potato masher (or use a fork) to create a thick paste-like mixture. Add flour, beaten egg, grated cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, along with the remaining broccoli and chickpeas. Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 8 small patties.
-
Place a larger pan on the stove and grease it with olive oil. Wait for it to heat up. Place the prepared patties in the hot pan and cook them over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side. Once they are nicely golden brown on both sides, remove them from the pan and serve on plates. Serve the patties with mashed potatoes and a bowl of salad, or simply offer a refreshing yogurt or cream sauce on the side.
