Ingredients
-
220 g Butter, unsalted
-
150 g Sugar, white
-
100 g Sugar, brown
-
340 g chocolate, dark
-
200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
60 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
0.5 bags Baking powder
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
2 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
100 g chocolate, dark
-
20 g Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
In a pan over low heat, melt the butter. Add sugar and mix for 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Add the chocolate drops to the pan and mix again until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for 20 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease the baking dish with butter. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder, and mix them with a whisk to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.
-
Transfer the chocolate mixture to a larger clean bowl and crack the eggs into it. Use a whisk, fork, or mixer to blend everything together so that the eggs are evenly incorporated into the mixture. Add the vanilla extract, then add the flour mixture. Mix the batter very well to ensure all ingredients are evenly combined.
-
Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and smooth it out with a spatula. Sprinkle the colorful candies on top. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the baked brownies to cool, then cut them into squares and serve.

Advice
You can sprinkle additional colorful candies on the chocolate drops. The taste will be excellent! Since chocolate drops are a bit more expensive than regular dark chocolate, you can also use broken chocolate (300 grams) instead of drops. Children can help with the preparation: mixing the batter, sprinkling the candies… Store the brownies in well-sealed plastic containers, as they can dry out in the fridge and lose their true flavor. They can be stored for 4 to 6 months. If you want to make low brownies, use a classic black low baking dish; if you want to bake voluminous brownies, use a deep metal or glass baking dish. Line the baking dish with parchment paper before baking – it will save you time on cleaning. Let the baked brownies rest on the baking dish for a short time to cool slightly, and only then cut them. For a romantic evening, you can cut heart-shaped brownies from the baking dish and decorate them with red rose petals or use flowers as a bed to place the brownies on.
