Bruschetta with Fresh Tomatoes

8 twig Basil, fresh

3 pods Garlic, fresh

4 pieces Tomato, red

4 spoon Oil, olive

3 pinch Salt, table

Steps

Wash and dry the basil. Save one or two sprigs for decoration. Remove the leaves from the remaining sprigs and chop them finely. Peel one clove of garlic and mince it. Wash the tomatoes and cut out the stem area. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a bowl. Add the chopped basil, garlic, oil, salt, and pepper to the tomatoes and mix everything well.

Preheat the oven to the highest temperature. Arrange the bread slices on a low baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven for about 4 minutes to toast the bread slices until crispy.

Peel the remaining garlic and cut the clove in half lengthwise. Rub the hot bread slices with the garlic halves.

Arrange the bread slices on a serving platter and top them with the tomato mixture. Garnish the prepared bruschettas with basil leaves and serve.
