Bruschetta with Garlic and Olive Oil
A crispy snack (orig. bruschetta) originating from Italy, known since the 15th century. If you have a grill, toast the bread slices on it; otherwise, you can use an oven.

Preheat the oven to the highest temperature. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half. Slice the bread into 2 cm thick pieces and arrange them in a shallow baking dish. Place the dish in the preheated oven for about 4 minutes to toast the bread slices until crispy. Flip the slices halfway through.

Rub the top side of the toasted bread slices with the halved garlic cloves (be careful not to burn yourself). Drizzle the slices with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Serve on plates and enjoy immediately.
