Brussels Sprouts with Almonds and Onion
If you dont like Brussels sprouts, try them with red onion, brown butter, and almond slices. A great side dish for cold winter days.

Ingredients

500 g Okra, sprouts, fresh

1 piece Onion, raw

1 spoon Oil, olive

pieces Salt, table

30 g Butter, unsalted

30 g Nuts, almonds, blanched

1 spoon Juice, lemon
Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Wash the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Also, cut the onion in half and slice it into thicker pieces.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the vegetables on it, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.

5 minutes before the end of baking, heat the butter in a small pan over medium heat until it starts to foam. Add the almond slices and toast them for 3 minutes until both turn a light brown color. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.

Transfer the Brussels sprouts and onion to a serving bowl. Pour the butter and almond mixture over them and serve the dish.
