Brussels Sprouts with Cheese

Ingredients

500 g Okra, sprouts, fresh

220 g Cheese, edamame

20 g Butter, unsalted

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

1 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground

Wash the Brussels sprouts thoroughly, clean them, and cut them in half. Heat salted water (with half a teaspoon of salt) in a pot. Add the sprouts to the boiling water and cook them covered over moderate heat for 15 minutes. Drain the cooked Brussels sprouts well.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease an ovenproof oval dish with butter and place the sprouts in it. Sprinkle grated cheese and small pieces of the remaining butter on top, and season with a little pepper and nutmeg.

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and slightly browns. Remove the dish from the oven and serve the dish warm.

Advice
Instead of Edam cheese, you can use grated Parmesan. The dish can be served directly in an oval dish.
