Buckwheat Apple Crumble
An ideal recipe for those who dont enjoy preparing traditional pie dough. Simply mix the dry and wet ingredients separately, then layer them in a baking dish. It couldnt be simpler.

200 g Flour, buckwheat

200 g Walnuts

120 g Sugar, white

1 piece Baking powder

1 pinch Salt, table

1.5 kg Apples, rose

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground

150 g Butter, unsalted

Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish, measuring 35 x 25 centimeters, well with butter.

In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients: buckwheat flour, ground walnuts, 80 g of sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Peel the apples and grate them. Mix them with 40 grams of sugar, lemon zest, the juice of one lemon, and cinnamon.

In the baking dish, first sprinkle a third of the dry mixture. Cover it with half of the apples, then add another third of the dry mixture and the remaining half of the apples. Top with the remaining dry mixture.

Slice the butter into thin pieces and distribute them over the top layer. Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before cutting. When serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
