Ingredients
-
500 g Endive salad, fresh
-
150 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
4 slice Bread, wheat
-
6 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
6 spoon Oil, olive
-
1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
5 drops Worcestershire sauce
-
1 teaspoon Mustard
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
5 pieces Fish, anchovy fillets in oil
-
100 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Wash the lemon, cut it, and squeeze out the juice. Wash the chicken and cut it into long, thin strips. Coat the chicken with a mixture of three tablespoons of olive oil, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Let it rest in the marinade while you prepare the other ingredients.
-
Clean the lettuce, wash it, dry it, and tear it into pieces of any size. Cut the crust off the bread slices. Cut the bread into strips and toast them on all sides in an oiled pan until crispy. Cut the toasted bread strips into cubes and keep them warm. In the same pan, quickly crisp the bacon slices on both sides. Place the egg in cold water, wait for it to boil, cook it in boiling water for one more minute, then immediately transfer it to cold water.
-
Peel the egg and finely chop it together with the anchovy fillets. Prepare the salad dressing with olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper, crushed garlic clove, egg, and anchovy fillets.
-
Take the chicken out of the marinade and cook it in an oiled pan. Turn it while cooking to ensure it is evenly browned on all sides.
-
Pour the dressing over the lettuce and mix well. Add the cooked chicken, toasted bread, and bacon, and mix everything together. Serve the dish on plates and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.

Advice
One pan is enough to prepare this dish. Caesar salad has many variations; based on the basic recipe, you can create different options yourself. The original recipe uses raw egg yolk, but it is safer to use a cooked egg.
