Caprese Salad with Arugula

Ingredients

1 piece Tomato, red

100 g Cheese, mozzarella

1 handful Arugula

5 pieces Basil, fresh

1 pinch Salt, table

1 spoon Vinegar, balsamic

2 spoons Oil, olive
Steps

Wash and dry the arugula and basil. Cut the basil leaves into thin strips. Wash and dry the tomatoes with a paper towel. Remove the green part of the tomato, then slice it into thin rounds. Drain the mozzarella and slice it into rounds as well.

On a serving plate, alternately layer the tomato and mozzarella slices. Sprinkle with basil. Place a small pile of arugula in the center. Lightly season everything with salt and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve the prepared salad.
