Caramel Napolitanke
A pastry that wont take much time to prepare. Most importantly, we wont need to turn on the oven!

Ingredients

7 pieces Waffles

500 g Sugar, white

250 g Butter, unsalted

450 g Nuts, hazelnuts

9 spoon Dressing, caramel

2 dl Sweet cream
Steps

Place a small pot on the stove and, while continuously stirring, caramelize the sugar until it turns a light golden color. Then add the butter and cream, and cook for about 15 minutes. Keep stirring constantly to prevent the caramel from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

Remove the pot from the heat, add the coarsely ground hazelnuts and the glaze, and mix everything well. Before the mixture cools completely, evenly spread it on the first wafer and cover it with the second wafer. Continue this process until all 7 wafers are used. The top layer should be evenly coated with the last layer of caramel filling.

Cover the stack of wafers and caramel with baking paper and weigh it down with a heavy object to help the filling bind with the wafers. Place it in a cool place or the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the caramel to fully set.

Cut the prepared Napolitanke into triangles with a sharp knife, arrange them on a tray, and serve to your guests.
