If you have too many apples at home, this is one way to quickly use them up. However, be careful not to overdo it, as they contain a lot of sugar.

8 pieces Apples, rose

500 g Sugar, brown

1 cup Butter, unsalted

0.5 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural

100 g Nuts, hazelnuts, roasted without oil, without salt

In a saucepan with a thick bottom, slowly heat sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix the ingredients until they become smooth and free of lumps. Continue mixing until the mixture turns a light brown color, then remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Wash the apples thoroughly and dry them completely. Insert sticks into the apples, dip them into the caramel mixture, and then roll them in hazelnuts. Place them on plates to cool, then serve.
