Cauliflower Gratin
Cauliflower gratin is an excellent side dish for meat and fish dishes. Together with a large bowl of salad, it becomes a great lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

700 g Cauliflower, fresh

2 piece Egg, fresh

180 g Sour cream

1 dl Milk, whole milk

80 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated

0.25 teaspoons Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

2 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground

1 spoon Butter, unsalted
Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Clean the cauliflower, wash it, and cut it into larger pieces. Place a pot of salted water on the stove. When the water boils, add the cauliflower pieces and cook for about 10 minutes.

Grease an ovenproof dish well with butter. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, 2/3 of the grated Parmesan, and sour cream. Season to taste with pepper, salt, and nutmeg.

After 10 minutes of cooking, drain the cauliflower well and transfer it to the ovenproof dish. Pour the egg, cheese, and sour cream mixture over it. Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan on top, then place the dish in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.

Advice
