Ingredients
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
500 g Cauliflower, fresh
-
150 g Cheese, edamame
Sauce
-
30 g Butter, unsalted
-
30 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
320 ml Milk, skimmed
-
50 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
1 spoon Mustard
-
60 g Cheese, edamame
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Clean the cauliflower, wash it, and separate it into individual florets. Place a pot on the stove and fill it with a generous amount of lightly salted water. Once the water boils, add the cauliflower and cook for about 5 minutes.
-
Prepare a deep ovenproof dish and grease it well. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Drain the cauliflower and transfer it to the ovenproof dish. Then, place a small saucepan on the stove and melt the butter in it. Add the flour and cook while stirring for about one minute. Remove the saucepan from the heat and, while continuously stirring, slowly pour in the milk and add the mustard. Return the saucepan to the heat and stir until the sauce boils and thickens. Reduce the heat and cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove the saucepan from the heat.
-
Stir the grated cheese and Parmesan into the sauce. Mix until the cheese is completely melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then pour the sauce over the cauliflower. Sprinkle everything with more grated cheese, then place the ovenproof dish in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
-
Once the dish is ready, place the ovenproof dish directly on the table and serve with your chosen side dish.
