Ingredients
-
175 g Cheese, Cheddar
-
90 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
15 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 teaspoon Spices, paprika
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, mustard seeds, ground
-
20 pieces Olives, green, in brine
Steps
-
Grate the cheese and mix it with flour, butter, paprika, and mustard in a mixer until a coarse dough forms. Knead the dough well with your hands until it comes together. Take a thumb-sized piece of dough from the bowl and flatten it on the work surface. Place an olive in the center of the dough. Wrap the dough around the olive and press it to seal. If the dough crumbles too much, you can add a little water.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the stuffed cheese balls on it. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until they turn golden brown. Remove the baked cheese balls from the tray and let them cool slightly. Then serve.
