Cheese Sticks with Sesame

125 g Cheese, cottage cheese, from skimmed milk

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Mix the ingredients well. Add the cottage cheese, oil, milk, egg, egg white, and salt. Knead everything together with clean hands into a smooth dough.

Transfer the dough to a clean work surface. Stretch it out slightly with your hands. Sprinkle Parmesan over the dough, then quickly knead it again.

Shape the dough into a roll and roll it out to about 0.5 cm thick. Cut the rolled-out dough into 1.5 cm wide and 12 cm long strips.

Place the strips on a baking tray lined with baking paper. In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolk and mix it with milk. Brush the strips with the mixture and sprinkle them with sesame seeds. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until they are nicely golden brown.
