Ingredients
-
60 g Butter, unsalted
-
8 pieces Dough, wonton
-
400 g Marmalade, orange
-
1 handful Nuts, almonds
-
2 spoons Powdered sugar
-
200 g cherries, fresh
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the cherries, remove the stems and pits, and cut them into smaller pieces. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Place a small pot on the stove and melt about 40 g of butter over low heat. Lay one sheet of puff pastry on a clean cloth and generously brush it with butter. Place another sheet on top and repeat the process. Layer all the sheets in this manner.
-
Spread cherry jam generously on the top sheet, add the fresh cherry pieces, making sure to leave about a 5 cm wide edge. Then sprinkle almond flakes over the jam. Fold one long and both short edges inward, then roll the pastry with the cloth into a roulade. Use the cloth to help with the rolling.
-
Grease a baking dish with the remaining butter and place the pastry roll in it. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes until the roll is golden and crispy. Finally, dust it with powdered sugar and let it cool. Then cut it into smaller pieces, serve on plates, and enjoy.
