Chia Pudding with Cherry Compote

Ingredients

4 spoon Flaxseed

250 ml Coconut milk

1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground

0.5 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural

1 spoon Syrup, maple

1 cup cherries, fresh

50 ml Water

Steps

Wash the cherries and remove the pits. Add them to a pot along with water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then cook for about 15 minutes until the cherries soften and you get a medium-thick sauce. Remove from heat and let it cool.

In a bowl, mix chia seeds, plant-based milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and any sweetener of your choice. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes so the seeds start to gel, then mix the pudding well again and distribute it into glasses.

Top the chia pudding with the cherry compote. Store the glasses in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving, garnish the chia pudding with coconut or toasted almond slices as desired.

Advice
