Ingredients
-
400 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
3 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
5 pieces Tomato, dried
-
1 handful Basil, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
375 g Dough, puff
-
100 g Cheese, edamame
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
Steps
-
Wash the chicken breasts and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Cut them into smaller pieces and place them in an electric chopper. Add a peeled and crushed garlic clove and finely chop both ingredients together.
-
Cut the bacon into pieces, and finely chop the basil and tomatoes. Add everything to the electric chopper and chop for a few more seconds to mix the ingredients and create a uniform mixture. Season with pepper and salt.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Unroll the pre-rolled fresh puff pastry and spread the prepared mixture thickly over it. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the mixture, then roll the pastry to form a long roll. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into 3 cm thick slices.
-
Line a low baking dish with parchment paper, then arrange the rolls on it. Before baking, brush the tops with beaten egg yolk. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are nicely golden brown on top.
