Ingredients
-
100 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
4 slice Bread, whole grain
-
0.5 piece Onion, raw
-
80 g Cheese, feta
-
4 pieces Salad, soft
-
1.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, rosemary, dried
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
1 piece Tomato, red
-
0.5 piece Avocado, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Juice, lemon
-
2 teaspoons Margarine
Steps
-
Wash the chicken breasts, dry them, and slice them lengthwise into thinner fillets. Cut the fillets into strips or cubes. Place a pan on the heat, warm up some oil, and sear the meat on all sides until it turns brown. Transfer the cooked meat to a bowl, season with a pinch of salt, and sprinkle with a pinch of rosemary. Mix everything well.
-
Cut the feta cheese into cubes and place them in a bowl. Squeeze a lemon and use a spoonful of the juice to drizzle over the feta, saving the rest for lemonade. Add half a teaspoon of oregano to the bowl, then gently mix everything with your fingers. Wash the lettuce and tear it into smaller pieces, peel the onion and slice it into rings. Wash the tomato and slice it into rings. Peel the avocado, halve it, and slice one half into pieces.
-
Slice the bread and toast the slices in a pan or toaster. Once both sides are golden brown, spread butter on one side of the bread. Layer the lettuce leaves, chicken, and cheese cubes on the butter. Top with onion rings, tomato slices, and more lettuce, then cover with the other slice of bread. Press everything together and serve warm.

Advice
The sandwich can also be prepared using leftover roasted chicken, which can be cut or torn into smaller pieces. If you enjoy the freshness of lemon, you can drizzle the toasted bread slices with lemon juice. However, not too much, as it can become too sour.
