Ingredients
-
4 pieces Meat, chicken, breasts
-
200 g Broccoli, fresh
-
100 g Cheese, groats
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
2 spoons Thyme, fresh
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
3 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 cup Milk, skimmed
-
0.5 cups Soup base, chicken, cube
-
2 spoons Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
1 spoon Mustard
Steps
-
Turn on the broiler and set it to medium heat (170 degrees). Lightly grease a baking dish. Place a medium-sized pot of salted water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Add the broccoli to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the cooked broccoli well and let it cool.
-
Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Grate the Gruyère cheese and chop the broccoli. In a bowl, mix the broccoli, Gruyère cheese, and garlic. Remove the skin and bones from the chicken breasts, wash them, and dry them with a paper towel. Make a long, 7.5 cm deep pocket in each piece of meat with a sharp knife and fill it with the broccoli mixture. Sprinkle the chicken with thyme, season with salt and pepper, and brush with oil.
-
Place the stuffed chicken pieces in the baking dish, slide it under the broiler, and broil the chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes on each side.
-
Mix the broth base and milk in a jug, season with salt and pepper, and place it on the stove. Heat until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Pour the sauce over the meat and place the dish under the preheated broiler for another 5 minutes.
-
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then cut each piece in half. Stir the mustard into the sauce. Divide the sauce onto plates and place the chicken pieces on top. Serve with young peas.
