Chicken Breasts with Lemon Sauce
This recipe is an excellent solution for those who usually dont have time to cook during the week. The oven will do most of the work, and along with the baked meat, a very tasty sauce will also form in the baking dish. You can enjoy this dish for lunch or dinner, and for the side, we recommend rice or couscous.

-

Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Rinse the chicken breasts under running water and dry them with paper towels. Season them well with salt, pepper, and a spice mix.

Place a larger pan on the stove and heat the oil. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the heated oil and sear them until golden brown on both sides (about 3 to 5 minutes per side).
-
Transfer the seared breasts to a baking dish. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken breasts. Add lemon slices and a few unpeeled garlic cloves to the baking dish, then place it in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
-
Once the chicken is cooked through and a golden brown crust has formed on top, remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour the sauce that has formed in the dish over the baked meat, then serve it on plates. Serve the dish with your chosen side.
