Chicken Fillet in Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola

600 g Meat, chicken, heart

1 piece Onion, raw

2 pod Garlic, fresh

250 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh

200 ml Soup base, chicken, cube

150 ml Sweet cream

pieces Salt, table

1 spoon Parsley, fresh
Steps

Rinse the chicken fillets under running water, pat them dry with paper towels, and lightly season with pepper and salt. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them. Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them separately.

Pour oil into a pan and heat it over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and keep it warm on a plate.

In the same pan, add the onion and sauté until translucent. Add a bit more oil if needed. Add the garlic and sliced mushrooms, stirring and cooking until the mushrooms turn a nice brown color.

Return the cooked chicken to the pan and pour in the broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the dish simmer for 3 minutes.

Finally, stir in the cream and season the sauce with pepper and salt to taste. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Sprinkle the prepared dish with chopped parsley, serve on plates, and offer with your chosen side dish.
