Ingredients
-
800 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
2.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
3 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
280 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh
-
4 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
2.5 dl Soup base, chicken, cube
Steps
-
Wash the chicken breasts and dry them with paper towels. Cut them into two parts. Then cut each part in half to get two thicker fillets. Season all the fillets with pepper and salt. Clean the mushrooms, rinse them quickly, and chop them very finely. Peel the onion and chop it finely as well. Cut the bacon into smaller pieces.
-
Place a larger pan on the stove and heat it up, then add oil. Place the seasoned chicken fillets on the heated oil and cook them on each side until they turn golden brown (about 5 minutes). Remove the cooked fillets to a plate, and add the onion to the pan. Cook the onion while stirring until it becomes translucent and soft.
-
Add the mushrooms and bacon and cook everything together while stirring for another 4 minutes. Then return the fillets to the pan, pour in the broth, and season everything to taste with pepper and salt. Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
-
Arrange the prepared fillets on plates and pour the sauce over them. Serve with a side dish.
