Ingredients
-
4 pieces Meat, chicken, breasts
-
4 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
2 piece Orange, fresh
-
50 ml Soy sauce, shoyu
-
0.25 piece Onion, raw
-
6 pods Garlic, fresh
-
2 spoons Ginger, fresh
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
2 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
Rinse the fillets under running water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Lightly pound them to make them more evenly thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Peel the garlic, crush it with a knife, and finely chop. Peel the onion, rinse it, and finely chop. Wash the oranges, cut them in half, and squeeze out the juice.
-
In a large bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, soy sauce, ginger, and orange juice. Add the fillets to the mixture and coat them well with the marinade on all sides. Cover the bowl with the fillets and store it in the refrigerator overnight. If possible, turn the fillets several times during this period.
-
The next day, take the bowl with the fillets out of the refrigerator. Place a grill pan on the stove and heat it well, then oil it. Once the pan and oil are well heated, place the marinated chicken meat in the pan. First, cook the fillets over medium heat for 7 minutes on one side, then flip them and cook for another 6 minutes on the other side. During cooking, you can baste the meat with the marinade and lightly salt it if needed. Then remove the meat from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
-
Serve the cooked fillets on plates and offer them with a side dish of your choice.
