Chicken in Creamy Paprika Sauce

Ingredients

1.5 spoons Oil, olive

0.5 piece Onion, raw

500 g Meat, chicken, breasts

1 teaspoon Spices, paprika

pieces Spices, basil, dried

250 ml Sweet cream

pieces Cheese, creamy
Steps

Peel the onion and finely chop it. Cut the chicken meat into bite-sized pieces.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the chopped meat, lightly season with salt and pepper, and sauté together with the onion until the meat changes color (turns white). Season with paprika and basil, and continue sautéing while stirring constantly until the spices become fragrant (1 to 2 minutes).

Pour cream over the ingredients in the pan. Use a spatula to scrape the bottom well to release all the caramelized bits that formed during sautéing. Let the dish simmer slowly on low heat for 20 minutes. Add a little water if needed.

Peel the garlic cloves and add them to the sauce. Wait for them to dissolve, then gently mix them into the sauce and other ingredients. Serve the prepared dish on plates. Offer it with cooked pasta, boiled rice, mashed potatoes, or gnocchi.

Advice
You can also add chopped vegetables (red bell pepper, zucchini, carrot) to the sauce. Cut them into pieces and sauté them together with the meat.
