Ingredients
-
4 pieces Meat, chicken, breasts
-
250 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
4 pods Garlic, fresh
-
2 spoons Oil, plant, sunflower
-
30 g Butter, unsalted
-
150 ml Soup base, chicken, cube
-
1 teaspoon Thyme, fresh
-
150 g Sweet cream
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Wash the chicken breasts and dry them with a paper towel. Then cut the meat into strips. Clean the mushrooms, wipe them with a damp cloth, and slice them into thin pieces or quarters. Peel, wash, and chop the onion and garlic.
-
Add oil to the pan along with butter and heat until the butter foams. Add the meat, mushrooms, and onion to the pan and sauté, stirring until the onion becomes translucent. Quickly sauté the garlic as well, then pour in the chicken broth. Turn the heat to high to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
-
Add thyme to the mixture and stir. After 15 minutes of cooking, add the cooking cream and mix the sauce well to ensure the cream is evenly distributed. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, then cook for another 5 minutes on medium heat before removing from the stove. Serve the dish hot with a side dish and a glass of good wine.

Advice
The dish can be sprinkled with freshly chopped chives and parsley. Instead of cooking cream, you can use sour cream in the same amount. If the sauce seems too thin, turn the stove to the highest heat and cook until most of the liquid evaporates. This will extend the cooking time.
