Chicken in Spicy Asian Sauce
If you enjoy quickly prepared spicy dishes, you will definitely like this recipe. The dish is prepared in one pan in less than 30 minutes. For extra spiciness, you can add some fresh chili or simply increase the amount of chili sauce.

2 spoons Fish sauce

1 spoon Sugar, brown

2 spoons Soy sauce, shoyu

Steps

Peel the garlic and shallot, then finely chop them separately. Rinse the chicken under running water, pat dry, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Place a large pan (wok) on the stove and heat it well. Add oil and spread it evenly across the pan. Quickly sauté the shallot and garlic in the hot oil. Remove the sautéed ingredients from the pan and set aside on a plate. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until the pieces are golden brown on all sides. Add more oil if needed.

While the chicken is cooking, mix the fish sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce, sugar, water, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add this mixture along with the sautéed shallot and garlic to the pan with the cooked chicken. Stir well and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt to taste. Sprinkle chopped green onions over the prepared dish. Serve with cooked rice.

Advice
Instead of chicken thighs, you can also use chicken breast.
