Chicken in Wine Sauce
Sweet meat cooked in a red wine sauce with the addition of rice.

Ingredients

1 piece Onion, raw

5 spoon Oil, olive

800 g Meat, chicken, thighs

250 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh

1 teaspoon Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

1 dl Water

1 dl Alcohol, Wine, Red

2 cups Rice, white, long grain

5 twig Parsley, fresh
Steps

Peel the onion, cut it in half, and slice it. Add oil to a deep pan and quickly sauté the onion until it softens. Wash the chicken meat and dry it with a paper towel, then roast it together with the onion.

Wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth, cut them into thicker pieces, and add them to the pan. Quickly mix everything together and pour in water. Lightly salt and pepper the water, then add red wine. Cook for 20 minutes. Do not cover the pan with a lid!

Once the sauce has reduced slightly, taste it. Add more salt or water if needed and cook for another 10 minutes. In a pot, add water, salt it, and bring it to a boil. Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Drain the cooked rice and keep it warm.

Remove the roasted meat from the heat. Serve the rice and meat on plates, and pour the sauce over them. Wash the parsley, chop it finely, and sprinkle it over the meat.

Advice
If the sauce is too salty, wash a potato, cut it in half, and add it to the sauce. The potato will absorb the excess salt. To enhance the flavor of the rice, mix in a spoonful of your favorite butter or cheese spread.
