Chicken Liver Pâté

Ingredients

350 g Meat, chicken, liver

150 g Meat, chicken, breasts

30 g Butter, unsalted

0.5 piece Onion, raw

0.25 teaspoons Spices, thyme, dried

1 pod Garlic, fresh

0.5 teaspoons Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

0.5 dl Sweet cream
Steps

Cut the chicken livers and cooked or roasted chicken meat into smaller pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Place a pan on the stove and slowly melt the butter over moderate heat. Once the butter starts to foam, add the chopped onion, liver pieces, and thyme to the pan. Cook everything together, stirring occasionally, for a few minutes.

Once the liver pieces are seared on all sides, add the chopped chicken meat, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the pan. Mix all the ingredients well and cook for a few more minutes, then remove the pan from the heat.

Transfer the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Once a pâté-like mixture forms, pour in the sweet cream. Blend for another minute, then transfer the pâté to a bowl. Smooth the top lightly, cover with plastic wrap, and let it cool completely.

Spread the chilled pâté on slices of bread or toasted bread, serve on plates, and enjoy.

Advice
