Chicken Livers and Hearts in Sauce
A quickly prepared dish that pairs well with numerous side dishes. Among the most popular are polenta, mashed potatoes, and noodles. An excellent accompaniment is also sliced bread, which can be used to wipe the plates clean to the last drop.

Ingredients

2 spoons Oil, olive

3 pieces Shallot

400 g Meat, Turkey, liver

2 pod Garlic, fresh

1 pinch Spices, mayonnaise, dried

1 teaspoon Spices, paprika

pieces Salt, table

2 piece Spices, bay (leaves)

1 spoon Tomato, concentrate

0.5 dl Alcohol, Wine, White

0.5 dl Water
Steps

Peel the shallot and garlic, then finely chop them separately. Cut the livers and hearts into centimeter-sized pieces or strips.

Heat a pan and pour in olive oil, in which you lightly brown the chopped shallot. Add the livers and hearts and fry them over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Season with garlic, marjoram, paprika, salt, and pepper, and add the bay leaves. Fry the ingredients while stirring continuously for another 1-2 minutes.

Add a tablespoon of tomato paste, mix, then pour in the wine. Cook over medium heat until the alcohol evaporates, then add water. Mix and simmer over low heat for about 5 more minutes.

Serve the livers and hearts in sauce with your chosen side dish.
