Chicken Livers in Sauce
For those of you who are not particularly fond of chicken livers, you will surely fall in love with them in this quickly prepared dish. Keep in mind that livers are a highly nutritious superfood, rich in proteins, as well as vitamins from the B group, vitamins A and C, iron, and selenium. The prepared dish can be served with fresh bread or boiled potatoes.

Ingredients

2 spoons Oil, olive

500 g Meat, chicken, liver

20 g Butter, unsalted

1 piece Onion, raw

1 pod Garlic, fresh

1 dl Sweet cream

2 dl Water

pieces Salt, table

2 piece Cucumbers, sour

2 spoons Mustard

1 bouquet Parsley, fresh
Steps

Remove the fat and tendons from the livers and cut them into 1 cm thick slices. Dice the onion and garlic, and cut the cucumber into thin strips.

Heat oil in a larger pan and fry the livers for 4 minutes, then transfer them to a plate. In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the onion and garlic for 5 minutes over medium heat, then add the cooking cream and water.

Cook the ingredients in the pan for another 2 minutes, then stir in the mustard and finally add the cucumber and fried livers. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the prepared dish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve with bread or boiled potatoes.
