Ingredients
-
600 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
4 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
4 slice Cheese, mozzarella
-
1 teaspoon Spices, mustard seeds, ground
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
1 teaspoon Spices, paprika
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
0.75 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
Steps
-
Rinse the chicken medallions well under running water and dry them with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, mustard seeds, oregano, and paprika. Lightly coat both sides of the medallions with the prepared mixture. Slice the mozzarella into 4 equally thick slices.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat the oil. Cook the chicken medallions in the heated oil. Fry them for about 4 minutes on each side. Then transfer the medallions to a plate and top them with the mozzarella slices. Wrap each medallion with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
-
Preheat the oven to broil. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and place the chicken medallions on it. Place the dish in the oven for about 7 to 10 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and slightly brown.
-
Remove the baking dish from the oven, serve the medallions on plates, carefully remove the toothpicks, and serve with your chosen side dish.
