Ingredients
-
2 spoons Oil, plant, sunflower
-
400 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
25 dag Cheese, Cheddar
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
1 cup Sour cream
pancake batter
-
220 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
350 ml Milk, whole milk
-
1 spoon Oil, plant, sunflower
-
1 dl Water
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
Prepare the pancake batter from the ingredients.
-
Pour a little oil into a pan, spread it around, and place the pan on the stove. Heat the pan well and pour in the first ladle of batter. Spread the batter evenly across the pan so there are no holes and the layer is as uniform as possible. Cook the pancake on one side – you can use a wooden spatula to lift the pancake and check if it is properly cooked. Then flip the pancake and cook the other side. Place the cooked pancakes on a warmed plate. Repeat the process until you have enough pancakes or use up all the batter.
-
Wash the chicken fillets, dry them with a paper towel, and cut them into small cubes. Place a new pan with butter on the stove and fry the chicken pieces for about seven minutes, stirring constantly. Slice the cheddar cheese thinly and mix it into the chicken. Season the filling to taste. Once the cheese has melted, remove the pan from the heat.
-
Place the chicken filling on the pancakes and roll them up. If desired, secure the rolled pancakes with toothpicks. Pour hot cream sauce over them and serve.

Advice
To keep the pancakes warm, you can place them on a plate, cover it, and put it in an oven preheated to 50 degrees Celsius. Instead of cheddar cheese, you can also use another type of cheese (e.g., edam, gouda, etc.). If desired, you can add any spices to the filling (e.g., chili, cayenne pepper, curry, etc.).
