Ingredients
-
400 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
1 bouquet Basil, fresh
-
8 slice Cheese, edamame
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
12 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
Steps
-
Cut the chicken breasts into 4 larger and thinner fillets, rinse them under running water, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Arrange the fillets on a clean work surface and lightly salt them. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and roughly chop it, then spread it over the fillets. Slice the cheese thinly and distribute it over the fillets (avoid placing cheese on the edges, as it will melt out). Sprinkle a bit of black pepper over the cheese, then roll the fillets into roulades.
-
Wrap slices of bacon around the roulades and secure everything with toothpicks. Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease a baking dish. Arrange the prepared roulades in the baking dish, leaving a little space between them. Bake the roulades in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Turn them several times during baking and baste them with the juices that collect in the dish.
-
Serve the baked roulades warm, accompanied by a glass of red wine and a bowl of salad.
