Chicken Roulades with Feta Cheese
The meat is wrapped around soft and flavorful cheese, the roulades are lightly coated in breadcrumbs and baked. You will definitely be delighted with the final product!

600 g Meat, chicken, breasts

150 g Cheese, feta

60 g Breadcrumbs, dried

0.5 dl Oil, olive

4 pinch Salt, table

3 pinch Spices, pepper, black

150 g Cherries, fresh

2 spoons Sugar, white
Steps

Rinse the chicken cutlets under running water and thoroughly dry them with paper towels. Arrange the cutlets on the work surface, cover with plastic wrap, and pound on both sides. Cut the feta into 1 cm thick sticks. Pour breadcrumbs onto a shallow plate.

Season the outside of the cutlets with salt and pepper. Place the feta sticks in the center of the inner side of the cutlets and roll them up. Secure the meat with toothpicks to prevent it from unrolling during baking. Quickly coat the prepared roulades in breadcrumbs.

Place a larger pan on the stove and heat the oil. Place the roulades in the heated oil and bake them over moderate heat for 12 minutes. Turn them during baking to ensure they are evenly browned on all sides. Finally, cover the pan and remove it from the stove.

Drain the cherries and reserve the juice. Place a small pot with the drained cherries on the stove. Slowly heat the cherries and stir frequently. Then, sweeten them with sugar and pour in three tablespoons of the reserved cherry juice. Mix everything well, slightly increase the temperature, and cook for 5 minutes until the mixture begins to simmer. Stir once more and remove from heat.

Serve the chicken roulades on plates and offer them together with the cherries.
