Chicken Souvlaki

Steps

Wash the chicken, pat it dry, and cut it into 2.5 cm pieces. Place them in a bowl. Add oregano, salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, and finely chopped garlic. Mix the ingredients well so that all the pieces of meat are nicely seasoned. Cover the bowl and store it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight).

Heat the grill (or a pan). Thread the marinated pieces of meat onto wooden or metal skewers. Grease the grill grates with oil. Grill the skewers for about 3 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned on all sides.

Serve the grilled skewers on plates and offer them with your chosen side dish.
