Chicken Stew with Vegetables
Homemade stew made from chicken meat and vegetables soothes the stomach and puts us in a good mood.

Ingredients

50 g Oil, plant, sunflower

1 piece Onion, raw

300 g Meat, chicken, breasts

250 g Kohlrabi, raw

100 g Carrot, fresh

150 g Potatoes, white

Steps

Wash the chicken meat, dry it, and cut it into larger pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Peel (or scrape) and wash the carrots. Clean the kohlrabi and remove the tough outer skin. Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut the carrots, potatoes, and kohlrabi into cubes.

Place a pot of water on the stove and wait for it to boil. In another pot, heat the oil and sauté the onion while stirring until it becomes translucent and golden. Add the meat, salt it, sprinkle with paprika, and fry until the meat is evenly browned on all sides (5 minutes). Add the vegetables and quickly mix everything together.

Prepare the cream base: in a small pot, mix the cream and flour until smooth. Pour the broth and cream base over the meat and vegetables. Cover the pot and cook at moderate heat for 25 minutes.

Serve the cooked stew in bowls.

Advice
For the stew, you can also use chicken meat with bones and skin (thighs, breasts, wings). You can also add spices as desired (e.g., thyme, parsley,…).
