Chicken with Artichokes

Ingredients

4 pieces Meat, chicken, breasts

5 pieces Artichoke

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

1.5 teaspoons Salt, table

Wash the artichokes and remove all the leaves, leaving only the hearts. Prepare a pot of water and place it on the stove. Add a teaspoon of salt to the water and wait for it to boil. Cook the artichoke hearts in the boiling water for about five minutes. Drain the cooked artichokes, cut them into quarters, and let them cool slightly.

While the artichokes are cooking, wash the chicken fillets and pat them dry. Do not salt the meat. Place a pan with vegetable oil on the stove and sear the fillets on both sides. Cook until they are lightly browned, then salt them on both sides and place them on plates.

Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and drizzle it over the fillets. Add the artichoke quarters to the pan and quickly sauté them, then place them on the plate with the fillets. If desired, cut the other half of the lemon into wedges and use them to garnish the prepared meat.
