Chicken with Garam Masala and Peanut Butter

Ingredients

400 g Meat, chicken, breasts

2 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground

pieces Oil, olive

0.5 teaspoons Spices, chili powder

0.5 teaspoons Spices, ginger, ground

2 pod Garlic, fresh

1 spoon Peanut butter, smooth

200 g Tomato sauce, without salt

200 g Coconut milk

2 dl Soup base, chicken, cube

Cut the chicken into larger pieces and marinate it in a teaspoon of garam masala spice mix and a little olive oil.

Place a pan on the stove and heat it up, then fry the seasoned chicken pieces until golden brown. Transfer the fried meat to a bowl and cover it.

In the same pan where the chicken was fried, add a tablespoon of olive oil, half a teaspoon of chili and ginger powder, a teaspoon of garam masala, and chopped garlic. Quickly sauté everything together. Add a tablespoon of peanut butter, mix, and sauté a bit more.

Add tomato paste, coconut milk, and broth base. Mix and wait for the sauce to boil, then add the fried chicken pieces and cook on medium/low heat for 35-40 minutes. Stir the dish several times during cooking.

Once the dish is ready, serve it in bowls or deep plates. Serve with cooked rice.
