Chicken with Mushrooms and Cream from the Oven
An excellent dish that will not disappoint you and is definitely worth making more than once. While baking the chicken, you will also roast potatoes in the oven, ensuring a perfect side dish. Instead of potatoes, you can serve cooked rice or gnocchi as a side.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and prepare two smaller baking dishes (20 x 15 centimeters). Wash the young potatoes and cut them into pieces, peel and finely chop the garlic and onion, and rinse the mushrooms under running water if necessary, then cut them into pieces as well.

Pour olive oil into one baking dish and add the chopped potatoes, seasoning them with salt.

Heat a pan, add a little oil, and wait for it to heat up. Meanwhile, quickly rinse the chicken. Once the oil is hot, sear the chicken on both sides and place it in the second baking dish.

In the pan where the chicken was seared, quickly sauté the onion. Add the garlic, and once it becomes fragrant, add the mushrooms. Sauté everything together for a bit longer, then pour in a deciliter of broth. Once the broth evaporates, add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic to the baking dish with the chicken. Season with a spice mix and pour in three deciliters of broth.

Place the baking dishes with the potatoes and chicken in the oven. After 25 minutes of baking, remove the chicken from the oven and add sour cream, which has been smoothly mixed and optionally thinned with a little water. Return the baking dish with the chicken to the oven for another 10 minutes to let the dish bake nicely.

Serve the roasted potatoes and chicken with mushrooms and cream on plates. Enjoy the prepared dish.
