Ingredients
-
600 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
2 piece Quince
-
1 spoon Oil, olive
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
1 dl Alcohol, Wine, White
-
1.5 dl Soup base, chicken, cube
-
2 piece Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
0.75 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cut the chicken breasts into 4 fillets (approximately 150 grams each). Rinse the fillets under running water and dry them with paper towels. Lightly season them with salt and pepper. Rinse the quinces under running water and cut them into quarters with a sharp knife. Remove the core, then cut the quarters into bite-sized pieces.
-
Heat butter and olive oil in a pan. Sear the seasoned fillets on both sides in the heated fat. Transfer the seared fillets to a smaller baking dish. Melt the remaining butter in the pan and quickly sauté the quince pieces. Add the sautéed quince pieces to the baking dish and pour in the wine and broth. Add a cinnamon stick and season with pepper and salt to taste. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
-
Remove the baking dish from the oven and serve the dish on plates. Drizzle with the sauce from the baking dish and serve with your chosen side.
