Chicken Wrap with Caramel-Soy Sauce

Steps

Prepare tortillas from flour, water, salt, and pepper. Once baked, cover them with a clean cloth to soften.

Cut the chicken into larger pieces. In an electric mixer, add cashews, almonds, pine nuts, peanuts, onion, honey, spices, and soy sauce. Grind the ingredients finely to create a thick marinade, which is then spread over the chicken pieces and left to rest for some time.

Meanwhile, chop the lettuce and tomatoes into smaller pieces as desired and store them in a cool place until use. In a small pot, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water. Heat until an amber-colored syrup forms, then mix in butter, cooking cream, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Stir well with a whisk to create a thick sauce, which is then poured into a container and cooled.

First, coat the marinated chicken pieces in flour, then dip them in beaten egg, and finally roll them in crushed cornflakes. Fry the breaded pieces in hot oil until golden brown.

Spread mayonnaise on the tortilla, then layer it with the fried chicken pieces and vegetables. Add a bit of Parmesan if desired. Roll the tortilla into a wrap and serve it with the prepared sauce.
