1.5 handful Chili peppers, red chili, dried

8 dl Oil, vegetable oil, canola

Fill one-third of the bottle with dried chilies and pour oil to the top. Close the bottle tightly, shake it, and let it sit for one month.

After one month, the oil is ready and can be used for preparing dishes. Strain it if desired.

Advice
For preparing the oil, use olive, mustard, or sunflower oil. Chili oil can also be made with fresh chilies. Use 10 to 20 fresh chilies per liter of oil, removing the stems if desired.
