Ingredients

3 pods Garlic, fresh

1 piece Chili peppers, red chili, fresh

100 ml Soy sauce, shoyu

100 ml Alcohol, Wine, White

2 spoons Vinegar, red wine

250 ml Water

1 pinch Spices, ginger, ground

1 teaspoon Sugar, white

2 spoons Tomato, concentrate

1 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

1 spoon Koruzni škrob
Steps

Peel the garlic, crush it with a knife, and finely chop it. Wash the chili and finely chop it, including the seeds.

Pour the soy sauce, white wine, vinegar, and water into a pot and heat it up. While cooking slowly, gradually add the garlic, ginger, and sugar. Mix the ingredients well and let them cook on moderate heat for 15 minutes. Then add the tomato paste and stir until all the ingredients are well combined. Finally, mix in the chopped chili. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix the starch with 1 tablespoon of cold water and slowly stir it into the sauce to thicken it.

The sauce can be served cold or warm. It pairs best with fish fillets, poultry, pork, or spring rolls.

Advice
If you want the sauce to be less spicy, you can omit the chili from the ingredients. If you still want it to be slightly spicy, remove the seeds from the chili.
