Ingredients
-
175 g Meat, pork, thigh
-
85 g Fish, shrimp
-
2 piece Onion, young
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 teaspoons Spices, ginger, ground
-
2 spoons Oyster sauce
-
1 teaspoon Oil, sesame
-
50 g Chestnut, Water
-
200 g Dough, wonton
Steps
-
Wash the meat and water chestnuts under running water and dry them with a paper towel. Cut the pork and water chestnuts into small pieces. Wash the onions, peel them, and finely chop. Peel the garlic, crush it with a knife, and finely chop. Peel the water chestnut (if it has a dark skin) and finely chop. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together.
-
Cut the wonton dough into 9 cm squares. Place a wonton square on the work surface and brush the edges with cold water using a brush. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of the square and fold the dough into a pouch. Be careful not to overfill the pouch, as it may burst. Repeat this process until all the ingredients are used.
-
Place half of the wontons in a bamboo steaming basket, which has been lined with parchment paper and punctured in a few places. Make sure the wontons do not touch each other. Cover them and steam for 5 minutes. Then carefully remove them and repeat the process until all the wontons are cooked.
-
Serve the cooked wontons on plates and offer them with sauce.
