Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cookies
Simple yet delicious cookies that the youngest will be happy to help you make. At first glance, they are classic American chocolate chip cookies, but their flavor is much better thanks to the peanut butter. I recommend using peanut butter with peanut chunks.

Ingredients
-
130 g Butter, unsalted
-
100 g Sugar, white
-
100 g Sugar, brown
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
120 g Peanut butter, smooth
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
210 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 bags Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
180 g chocolate, dark
-
120 g chocolate, dark
Steps
-
In a bowl, first cream the softened butter and all the sugar. Add the peanut butter, then mix in the eggs one by one.
-
Sift the flour, mixed with salt and baking powder, into the mixture. Mix well with a spatula (or a mixer on the lowest speed) to form a smooth and uniform dough, then fold in the chopped chocolate. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. If you want cookies of roughly the same size, divide the chilled dough into 20-gram pieces.
-
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Shape the dough pieces into balls and flatten them slightly with your fingers. Place the cookies on the prepared tray, making sure there is at least 5 centimeters of space between them as they will expand during baking. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
-
Let the baked cookies cool to room temperature. They can be stored in the refrigerator for more than a week.
