Ingredients
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
-
130 g Sugar, white
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
1 piece Banana, fresh
-
150 ml Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
-
120 g chocolate, dark
-
180 g Flour, Whole wheat
-
4 spoon Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
0.5 bags Baking powder
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Lightly grease a narrow, oblong baking pan (30 x 12 cm) with butter and line it with baking paper. Chop the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave or over a double boiler.
-
In a bowl, cream the butter with regular and vanilla sugar. Gradually, one by one, mix in the eggs.
-
In another bowl, add the banana sliced into rounds and mash it with a fork. If the banana is firmer, you can also blend it with a hand mixer. Mix the mashed banana with yogurt and melted chocolate. In a third bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix the sifted ingredients well.
-
Alternately mix the dry and wet (banana, yogurt, chocolate) ingredients into the egg-butter mixture. In the end, you should have a medium-thick batter, which you pour into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly over the entire surface, smoothing the top nicely. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. It is done when a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
-
Let the baked cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack using the baking paper and let it cool completely. If desired, you can drizzle the cooled cake with melted chocolate and decorate it as you like.
