Ingredients
Dressing
-
200 g chocolate, dark
-
100 ml Coconut milk
-
180 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
30 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
150 g Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 teaspoon Vinegar, apple
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
80 ml Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
250 ml Water
Steps
-
Grease the bottom of a round cake pan with a removable rim (22 to 24 cm in diameter) with oil or coconut fat and line it with baking paper. Add flour, cocoa, baking soda, sugar, and salt. Mix the ingredients well and make two smaller and one larger well in the mixture. Add vinegar and vanilla aroma to the smaller wells, and oil to the larger one. Pour in water and quickly mix the ingredients (with a spatula or hand whisk) to get a completely smooth batter without lumps.
-
Bake the sponge cake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes. Once baked, let it cool, then remove it from the pan and serve on a nice plate or platter.
-
Coarsely chop the dark chocolate. Heat the coconut cream in a cup and remove it just before it boils. Add the chopped chocolate, wait 1 to 2 minutes for the chocolate to melt, then mix well to get a completely smooth chocolate sauce, which you pour over (or spread on) the cooled sponge cake. Decorate the cake with fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.), nuts, or chocolate decorations, cut into slices, and serve.
