Chocolate-Chestnut No-Bake Cake
An autumn treat for all who love chestnuts and chocolate. You only need five ingredients, and the most work will be preparing the chestnut puree. The texture of the cake will depend on the power of your immersion blender or food processor, but even if there are small pieces of chestnut, we promise it wont bother you at all.

Ingredients
-
450 g Nuts, chestnut, cooked
-
220 g chocolate, dark
-
110 g Butter, unsalted
-
80 g Sugar, white
-
1 spoon Alcohol, Rum
-
pieces Sweet cream
Steps
-
Blend smaller portions of chestnuts with an immersion blender; it's even better if you use a food processor. If you want the puree to be completely smooth, you can later help yourself with a potato masher or sieve.
-
Break the chocolate into a bowl and melt it over a double boiler.
-
In a larger bowl, place the softened butter and sugar and mix them well with a whisk. Add the chestnut puree, melted chocolate, and rum, and mix again.
-
Line a loaf pan with a strip of parchment paper cut diagonally. This will help you remove the set mixture from the mold more easily. Pour the chocolate-chestnut mixture into the pan, smooth the top, and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
-
Remove the set cake from the pan using the parchment paper, slice it into thin pieces, and serve with whipped cream.

Advice
In this recipe, we used pre-cooked and peeled chestnuts, which you can buy in all well-stocked stores. You can also cook or roast them at home, but measure out 600 grams.
