Ingredients
-
113 g Butter, unsalted
-
150 g Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
2.5 piece Banana, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
250 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, nutmeg, ground
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cloves, ground
-
70 g chocolate, dark
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. In a bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and continue mixing for about 2 minutes.
-
Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds, then place them in the bowl. Mash the banana slices well with a fork. Add the baking soda, mix, and let it sit for 2 minutes.
-
Mix the mashed bananas into the egg-butter mixture. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and spices. Sift the flour mixture into the banana mixture and stir until all ingredients are well combined. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
-
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Use a spoon to drop dollops of the dough onto the baking sheet. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 11 to 13 minutes, or until they are nicely golden brown.
-
Transfer the baked cookies from the baking sheet to a wire rack and let them cool. Once cooled, serve the cookies on a plate and enjoy.
